how it started
A4 · ink · tape
I printed out a daily tracker. Rows of little checkboxes. Stuck it on the wall above my desk. I was pumped.
By the end of the year: 4 boxes ticked. Entries on exactly 2 days. That paper hung on that wall for 365 days. The most expensive piece of A4 I've ever owned.
Every time I looked at it I felt guilt. It said: you're not perfect.
So I stopped looking. Stopped logging. The tracker meant for honesty turned into a wall of shame. Your brain is a powerful thing — it makes you forget what you said you'd do, then punishes you for forgetting.

so I built it
v1.0 · solo
It's okay to not be perfect every day.
I wanted to track my life without the guilt. Without a wall of shame. Without an app shouting about a broken streak.
I wanted insight — patterns, what makes me tick, what annoys me, what helps. The stuff you can't spot from inside your own head.
Every other app wanted my email, my cloud, my coaching subscription. And every single one asked for a credit card before I'd even tried it.
So I built Mirror. It runs entirely on my phone. The model lives on my phone. The entries never leave my phone. No streaks. No guilt. Just your life, mirrored back.
it's free. no card. no trial.
